"In Proverbs we read: "He that winneth souls is wise." If any man, women, or child by a godly life and example can win one soul to God, his life will not have been a failure. He will have outshone all the mighty men of his day, because he will have set a stream in motion that will flow on and on forever and ever."-D.L. Moody

In the "busyness" of life we can get sidetracked from our purpose and begin to think that we are here to accomplish goals and gain merit.  If we never reach the "goals" that our society and culture have placed on us then  our lives aren't complete.  CRAZY!  The only way to have a complete life is to be made complete in Christ and He'll launch us from there into the tasks, goals, and destiny that He has chosen.  Here in Hamtramck our RIP, and Xmin students as well as staff all work secular jobs. I love it!  Whether it's serving coffee, life guarding, selling video games, or being a waiter, it's really the opportunity for us to share the love of Christ and make Him known.   Our calling is perfect and our purpose is clear.

So we're in nthe midst of the war and as we continue to fight we know that the war isn't just out there in the world.  The battle begins the minute our eyes open and can often be decided by what we do right after.

Prayer and God's Word, essentials to fighting and  winning.  Here in Hamtramck RIP and Xmin students are striving as disciples to develop these areas, not as a program objective but  as a life objective.

In the past two weeks we've read the Bible from cover to cover in three days, gone into a week of prayer and fasting as a chruch, celebrated Real Church's Anniversary and have led many to Christ.  It's all part of the fight.  What gives us victory in this realm is the private victory won in the battlefield of discipline.

"I defy you to read the life of any saint that has ever adorned the life of the Church without seeing at once that the greatest characteristic in the life of that saint was discipline and order. Invariably it is the universal characteristic of all the outstanding men and women of God."—Unknown

Does prayer, God's Word and reaching the lost interest you?  Then maybe you should pray about coming to Hamtramck, check out the sight.

Four days left until RIP and Xmin begins. The call is now, the moment is here, and He bids us come and die. Ready to live? Ready to fight? Ready to win?
